Cider festival brings Northeasts best to Plainville area

Cider enthusiasts will want to leave room in the schedule for next month as a cider festival is making a visit to the Plainville area.

The Spring Cider Fest, organized by the Connecticut Cider Association, is preparing to open to interested parties who want to discover the best cideries and flavors in the state. It will be the first cider festival in Connecticut to solely feature options brewed within the state’s borders, helping to promote local brands and businesses.

Interested parties will have two ticket options, with general admission and VIP tickets going on sale. The general admission package will give ticket holders cider samples, live music from local bands and musicians, games and prizes, and access to food trucks for quick snacks and meals. Poster printing is a fantastic resource for organizers using a grassroots marketing campaign to raise awareness of such events.

Guests who choose a VIP ticket will receive all the aforementioned perks along with a commemorative shirt from the event. The tasting tent will be limited to guests 21 and over, and all attendees are asked to drink responsibly and arrange for a designated driver.

The Long View Ciderhouse Orchard Bar in Southington will host the festival, which has a start date of Saturday, May 31st. The doors open at 11:50 AM, and tickets start at $39.19 per guest.
