Plainville residents who want an opportunity to gain a new skill are in luck as a candle-making workshop is being planned in town.
The Brewed Aroma Candle-Making Workshop, presented by Arrogant Aroma, has an official start date, and interested parties will want to reserve their tickets and mark their Calendars for a memorable learning occasion. Registered guests will receive guidance and instruction when making candles and pairing them with savory aromas.
Guests will receive a welcome drink upon arrival and check-in at the host venue. Cocktails are available for purchase, though guests are asked to drink responsibly. Alexia, an experienced artist, will lead the workshop and help each attendee get settled into their station. The hands-on experience will result in a customized 10-ounce candle that students can take home to enjoy or share with friends and family. Students will also receive a personal mini-photo to commemorate their participation in the class, and access to the venue’s arcade section while the candle is drying. Candles will be made using 100% apricot soy to promote health and sustainable practices.
Relic Brewing in Plainville will host the candle-making experience, which is scheduled for Sunday, August 3rd, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Tickets can be booked online for $65.87 per person.
