The Connecticut Cocktails, Veils and Tails wedding show will be held next month, at a newly renovated wedding venue in Norwich.
Brides and grooms will have the opportunity to experience wedding services from local vendors, before their wedding day.
The event has been organized by Wedding Professionals Unite, and will be held at Celebrations at River’s Bend. The bridal show will begin with a cocktail hour, where attendees will experience live music while enjoying a complimentary glass of champagne, and a selection of food prepared by popular Connecticut caterers. Wedding vendors and suppliers, including florists, photographers, videographers, Stationery printers, wedding gowns and tuxedo rentals, cake bakers, limousine, and transportation services and wedding planners will be on site.
The wedding show will continue outside in a tented reception hall, with music supplied by a DJ and a sample dance floor setup. Dance lessons will be available, and modern wedding food options will be on site, including an ice cream truck and food trucks like Uncle D’s Blazin BBQ, and Brick & Basil Woodfired Pizza.
Celebrations at River’s Edge also has an indoor and outdoor site available for a wedding ceremony. The venue is located at 270 West Town Street in Norwich, with several lodging options available nearby, in addition to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos.
The Connecticut Cocktails, Veils and Tails wedding show will be held on Sunday, July 18th, with two timeslots available, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Tickets are available for purchase on the Eventbrite website, for $25 per couple, with an additional two tickets available at $15 per guest of the bride and groom.
