As summer turns to fall, Norwich golfers will be enjoying some time out on the links at a local course when they take part in the annual Norwich Rotary Golf Tournament.
Last year, the tourney raised $16,000, and the organizers are hoping that this year will surpass that amount. The proceeds will be used to help fund various community programs as well as international efforts to eradicate polio and provide clean drinking water.
The day of fun and fellowship will take place at Norwich Golf Course, and the day will open with check-in at 9:00 am. Everyone can mix and mingle until the play starts at 10:00 am, and at 3:00 pm, it will be time to retire to the clubhouse for the dinner and awards presentation ceremony. Anyone who would like to support the cause but cannot attend in person is encouraged to donate any amount they can.
As with many fundraising golf tournaments, the organizers have put together sponsorship packages for the local corporate community. There are options for almost every budget, and many include having the supporter’s branding included on the Banners and the decor used throughout the event. All packages include the option to have Promotional Products donated by the sponsor in goody Bags distributed to the players.
The Rotary Club of Norwich has invited everyone to raise their clubs in support of an assortment of community causes. The tourney is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9.
