An evening of creativity and community is coming to Norwich next month, allowing interested parties to sample their favorite beverages while sculpting a work of art.
The Sip & Sculpt Pottery Workshop will be coming to Epicure Brewing soon, and area artists and creatives can reserve their spot to create a memorable piece in a social setting. Organizers are hoping to provide a setting where each attendee can unwind while indulging in their creative side. The workshop will provide tips and techniques to create a piece for home decor or to give to a friend or loved one as a gift.
The setting will be tech-free, allowing attendees to unplug from the fast-paced world of work and social media. It will double as a fundraiser for mental health initiatives, with a portion of the proceeds going to such organizations. Print shops can help organizers acquire colorful and high-quality marketing materials to promote such events.
No previous experience is necessary to register, and participants will enjoy a warm and inclusive environment. The pottery pieces will be air-dried and available for pickup a few days after the event, at which point they will be ready to be painted.
Epicure Brewing, located in downtown Norwich, will be hosting the pottery workshop. It is scheduled for Friday, April 10th, starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets can be reserved online for $82 per person.
