The Otis Library in Norwich will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Evening with an Author series with Steve Gonsalves.
Evening with an Author is a program where people can hear presentations from talented writers. The special guest for the series is Steve Gonsalves, a paranormal investigator who also stars in the series Ghost Hunters. Gonsalves co-wrote A LIFE WITH GHOSTS: True, Terrifying, and Insightful Tales from My Favorite Haunts with Michael Aloisi. Gonsalves once used the Otis Library to research Norwich State Hospital, a notable paranormal site in the community. Libraries that hold presentations similar to this may utilize poster printing services to advertise their special events to patrons.
Companies interested in supporting the Evening with an Author program can become sponsors for the event. The library will offer several sponsorship packages ranging from $350 to $5,000. The packages include benefits like being shown on social media, recognition on the event screens, and a public call-out during the event. This year, there will also be a 20th Anniversary Partner tier for $4,000 that includes reserved seating, being featured on commemorative bookplates, and tickets for ten guests.
The author's presentation will be held on Friday, April 26th, at 6:00 pm. Individual tickets to the anniversary event can be bought for $135. Admission to the program will include a cocktail reception and refreshments from fine dining stations.
