Klassic Kreations is scheduled to hold a presentation about chocolate and coffee combinations at the Otis Library in Norwich this February.
A Perky Pairing: Coffee and Chocolate is an educational activity where guests can learn about the health benefits found in dark chocolate and coffee. The program is led by an experienced chocolatier from Klassic Kreations. People will learn the history of producing these goods and explore different coffee brewing methods. A coffee-chocolate tasting wheel will be given to each attendee to help them throughout the course.
The instructor of the course is Kim Larkin, a licensed commercial chocolatier who is certified by the Speciality Coffee Association. She also has a certification from the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy. Larkin leads several workshops, such as Superfoods 101, A Perfect Pairing: Wine and Chocolate, and Jewelry Jam. Businesses can hire Larkin to host corporate wellness workshops that showcase the benefits of essential oils. Her company, Klassic Kreations, sells products like essential oil inhalers, foot salts, and herbal dream pillows.
The coffee and chocolate presentation will take place on Saturday, February 17 from 11:00am to noon. The lecture is intended for adults and teens. There is no cost to attend Larkin’s workshop, but registration will be required for the event.
Libraries that host food-related lectures like this can use poster printing to share their activities with patrons.
