A crafting weekend retreat organized by Stamp-Patty’s will be held at the Holiday Inn Norwich in January.
Fans of paper crafting can attend a retreat where they can work with like-minded crafters. The theme for one of the crafting days is Luau, which welcomes participants to dress the part and decorate their workstations for a chance to win prizes. There will also be a male-themed workshop held during the retreat where crafters can make 10 cards for the men in their lives. Supplies for the workshops are provided to attendees.
Stamp-Patty’s is a business run by Patty Chenail, a creative coach who can teach crafters about stamping supplies and give them crafting ideas. She is also an independent demonstrator for the papercraft company Stampin’ Up, an organization founded in 1988 that has expanded its reach to countries like Canada, France, and Germany. The business sells products such as colored Envelopes, Stamps, and adhesives.
The crafting retreat will be held from Friday, January 27 to Sunday, January 29. Tickets for the whole experience will cost $300, which includes two buffet breakfasts, two buffet dinners, and admission to all of the program’s workshops. Crafters will also receive a personal space for working on their projects. Organizers for creative events like this may use flyer printing to market their retreats to local artists.
