Next month, the Spa at Norwich Inn will be hosting a conference for those who hold positions in the pharmacy industry.

The 2023 Women in Pharmacy Summit is an event where female pharmacists, students, and technicians can nourish their minds and bodies. The multiday conference will include activities such as a sunrise yoga session by the venue’s fountain, a networking reception, and group meditation. There will also be presentations on topics like cardiovascular health and financial planning. Attendees can even learn about using plants as medicine from a pharmacist’s perspective.

Business owners who wish to sponsor the event can choose from several tiers. Companies may become a Networking/Coffee Break Sponsor for $1,000, which includes their logos being displayed on the service tables and verbal recognition from the podium. Organizations can become a Breakfast Sponsor or Lunch Sponsor for $2,997 to receive benefits such as logo recognition on the event’s signage and a tabletop exhibit space.

The summit will be held from Thursday, May 18 to Friday, May 19. Those who are not members of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association must pay $347 to attend the conference. Students, residents, and pharmacy technicians may pay $147 to join the event. People who only want to access the networking activity can buy tickets for $87. Associations that hold conferences such as this may use brochure printing to make custom event programs for guests.
