Norwich to hold meeting for insurance agents

Insurance agents in Connecticut are invited to attend a meeting in July at Epicure Brewing in Norwich.

News 'n Brews is a networking activity and information session where local agents can discuss important industry topics and hear from professionals. The event is organized by Jeanette Natale, the senior marketing manager of GarityAdvantage Agencies.

The agency is a national marketing organization that predominantly deals with the senior market and provides independent brokers with essential tools for becoming successful. The session shows agents how the group can help them sell Medicare and cover what benefits the agency offers, such as providing access to the latest technology and free leads.

The special guest of the meeting is Rebecca Palazzo, who is the current regional sales manager for Anthem. She also has experience as a senior account executive, sales associate, and front desk receptionist. Palazzo works with agents to develop their marketing plans, business plans, and sales strategies.

The agency's meeting will take place on Thursday, July 28 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. No payment is necessary for insurance brokers to take part in the event, though all agents must register before attending. Marketing organizations that hold meetings similar to this may promote their seminars to target audiences with flyer printing. Similar events will be held in Milford on June 30 and in Derby on May 19.
