Global City Norwich will hold an event in October where people can tour the community’s best eateries.
The Global City Norwich Grub Crawl is a group activity that invites people to experience various restaurants in the area. The eateries selected for the tour will feature dishes from different cultures, including Italian and Mexican dishes. Those participating in the event will meet at Foundry to receive their wristbands for the crawl. No refunds will be offered for the event, though registrants can transfer the ticket to someone else in the event that they cannot make it to the program.
Global City Norwich is a project that was created to revitalize Downtown Norwich through multicultural events. Another goal of the organization is to help bridge cultures in the city. Other activities organized by the group include the Peruvian Flag Raising, the Haiti Flag Day Ceremony, and the Global City International Festival. Those interested in supporting the organization can volunteer at the multicultural events, donate to the project, or become a sponsor.
The grub crawl will be held on Tuesday, October 24 and will start at 5:00 pm. Tickets to the activity will cost $25 per person, though discounts are available for seniors and members of the military. General admission tickets must be purchased by October 16. Those in charge of local meetups like this may use flyer printing to generate more interest for their outings.
