The Otis Library in Norwich will hold a seasonal marketplace for local crafters in November.
The 16th Annual O'tis a Festival is a marketplace where people can browse handcrafted goods from local artisans. The library will also have family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. Children can visit with Santa at the event, and there will be celebrity parking attendants to help guide attendees to free parking spots. Many vendors will participate in this year's fest, like the Chocolate Rose Bakeshop, Small Potatoes Crafts & Gifts, and Walking Tree Creations. People can also browse artists such as Eric Sturtevant and Elizabeth Jancewicz.
Vendors interested in attending the marketplace can purchase booth spaces for $50. There is limited electricity available at the venue for $10. The market has several categories for merchants, including ceramics, glass, food, and leather. All participants must donate a handcrafted item to the Otis Library's Take a Chance fundraiser. The donated items will be used in the market's teacup raffle. Crafters are responsible for transporting their products to and from the library.
The annual market will be on Saturday, November 23 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Customers are not required to register for the event, and there is no cost to enter the seasonal marketplace. Vendors can set up their spaces on Friday, November 22. Crafters who sign up for similar festivals to this may use banner printing to help set their stalls apart from those of other businesses.
