The Integrated Day Charter School (IDCS) Foundation will host a golf tournament in Norwich.
This is the organization's first golf competition. Competitors will meet at the Norwich Golf Course, the address for which is 685 New London Turnpike.
Activities other than golfing include a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and scramble. There will also be a buffet and awards for the longest drive and the closest to the pin.
Registration is open now and costs $150 per person or $600 for a group of four. T-Shirts are available for sponsors as Promotional Products for $125 each or $175 for two. Proceeds go toward the charter school and its community.
The IDCS Foundation has been around for two decades. With the $2,700 the grant program raised in the last year, IDCS was able to buy a tripod, camera, and other necessities to build a makerspace. It also purchased advanced accessories for a studio and funded a play. Thanks to the organization committing $12,000 to install a scoreboard and bleachers, the school can host home games for its basketball team.

This event is on Wednesday, June 24. Registration opens at 11:00 am and the tournament gets underway at 12:30 pm.
