Next month, a Norwich event will spend two days giving area businesses a special platform to showcase their culinary talents to the community.
A food truck is like a mobile version of a restaurant. The owners can park anywhere they are welcome and sell their menu to passersby, while also making everything fresh, right inside the vehicle.
The ability to relocate freely also makes food trucks perfect as a feature or benefit at many kinds of events. Any cuisine can be offered, as long as the food can be safely prepared within the kitchen.
The company Petrillo’s Fairs and Festivals has organized the Food Truck Festival for Norwich previously, and is back once again. This year, 20 different trucks from around the New England area will be bringing their unique Menus to Senator Thomas J Dodd Memorial Stadium.
In addition to food, there will be games, contests, music, and trivia. A market will feature small businesses and craftspeople selling their products. A special guest, the Easter Bunny, will be present. Many businesses that participate in festivals such as this hire services for business card printing, so that they can have something small and easy to carry to hand to their customers.
