Three Rivers Community College in Norwich is getting ready for a Super Saturday.
New, current, and prospective students can learn about financial aid, registration, scheduling, payments, selecting courses, applications, and testing in the A wing of the campus. Super Saturday will also help students prepare of the upcoming semester and answer any last-minute questions they might have.
According to Student Services Dean Steve Finton, Three Rivers Community College wishes to offer one last way for students to enroll and register for classes easily. Super Saturday offers guidance for students and allows them to get everything necessary to start the semester in a day. Students who register at the Super Saturday event can win a gift card from Bookstore, the school store.
Multiple departments from Three Rivers Community College will be at the event including. Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Admissions, the Registrar's Office, and the Cashier's Office. Enrolling requires new students to bring their immunization records and proof that they completed high school. Students can also register to take an English or math placement test in order to find the correct college course. The assessments will be done by noon that day.
The event runs 9:00 am until 2:00 pm this Saturday, January 12. The Bookstore will be open so students can buy Books, clothes, art supplies, and TRCC merchandise like promotional Pens. The school year starts on January 24.
