The Westside Branch of the Chelsea Groton Bank will be offering a seminar in October for Norwich locals.
Facebook Beyond the Basics is a program that introduces attendees to Facebook and teaches business owners how to use the social media site for customer engagement. The lesson will cover topics like optimizing profiles, creating ads on Facebook, and how to drive users to take certain actions. The class is part of Chelsea Groton Bank’s E-Learning Center, which offers financial courses, instructional tutorials, and informative articles.
The presenter of the lecture is Christen Brewer, who works with Chelsea Groton Bank as a digital specialist and graphic designer. She has experience as the brand manager of Miranda Creative, Inc. and the marketing coordinator of Droll Yankees Inc. Brewer is also an artist who creates fused glass jewelry and paintings. Educators and artists like Brewer may use business card printing to provide new clients with their main contact details.
The class on using Facebook will be held on Tuesday, October 4 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Those interested in Brewer’s presentation must register in advance. There is no cost to sign up for her course. Guests unable to attend the event in person at the Westside Branch can receive a Zoom link to the lecture. All attendees must register for the class by Monday, October 3.
