The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will be organizing an informational activity in January at Otis Library in Norwich.
Animal lovers can attend an upcoming event at the Otis Library to learn more about local creatures. The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will be presenting Animals Surviving Winter, a show where guests can discover how organisms in Connecticut can adjust to cold climates. During the lesson, attendees will meet a bird, frog, and turtle. Those who take part in the in-person program must wear a face covering while inside the Otis Library.
The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center is a venue in Mystic, Connecticut founded in 1946 that helps the community experience nature. The organization has several miles of trails for people to stroll through and even displays natural history exhibits. Many activities have been organized by the center, including cooking demonstrations, group hikes, and summer programs for children. Those in charge of events like these may use banner printing to promote their programs outdoors.
The nature center’s presentation will take place on Saturday, January 22nd and will begin at 11:00 am. The activity is appropriate for all ages to enjoy and does not cost money.
