A highly decorated singer is heading out for one more tour. A late July show will be the perfect opportunity for Norwich residents to enjoy the music.
Sir Rod Stewart is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He started out working in bands, with the two most notable being the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces. Alongside his career with the latter, Stewart also started releasing solo work. For both his solo career and his time as a Faces member, he was inducted into the prestigious Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on two separate occasions. He also has a Grammy, and a number of other honors. He was even awarded the title of “Sir” in 2016, after previously earning a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) honor in 2007.
Stewart’s catalog is a mix of originals and covers spanning several genres. Some of the tracks he has recorded include “Maggie May,” “Baby Jane,” “Forever Young,” “The First Cut Is the Deepest,” “Sailing,” “Time After Time,” and “I’ve Got You Under My Skin.”
The Rod Stewart: One Last Time tour will be stopping by the Mohegan Sun Arena. This venue is in Uncasville, a town that is a short distance from Norwich. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Pricing starts at $179.75 and goes up to $1,404. This includes fees, and a mix of initial release and resale tickets. Many touring musicians will use a printing service to add their Logo Design to merchandise for crowds to shop from. The July 25th show is starting at 7:30pm.
