Music and art celebration comes to Norwich

The Rose Arts Festival is returning to Norwich this summer.

The music and art festival hosted by Rose Arts is one of the largest in the area. Filled with music, art, food, vendors, and family-friendly activities, it lasts from morning to evening.

A roadway 5K and a 10K start the festival off in the morning. Meanwhile, people will be playing music and performing at Chelsea Parade. The bands performing this year include Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, Sophistafunk, and The New Mosiac.

There will be multiple galleries featuring art from various artists, such as the Sara Davis Budding Artist Display, which is holding a competition for prizes up to $250.

Children can enjoy their own interactive area. Art classes are available all day free of charge. Guests can play games, win contests, and take a tour to learn about Norwich history as the Rose of New England.

Once a beauty pageant, the tradition of Rose Court is reborn as a gender inclusive competition. Contestants must demonstrate their involvement and pride in the community, initiative, and intelligence. Distinguished community members and former Rose Court winners will be the judges.

The Rose Arts Festival will take place on June 27 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is free to attend.

Business card printing is used to advertise music and art. Someone who enjoyed a performance can get the artist's card and get in touch with them another time.
