A golf outing and evening gala will be held in benefit of community support services for homeless youth in eastern Connecticut.
Residents from throughout the region – including Norwich, Preston and North Stonington – are invited to participate in the fundraiser.
The Hole-In-One for Homeless Youth: Gala and Golf Outing, in support of Noank Community Support Services (NCSS), will include a day of golf and an evening gala event featuring cocktails, a raffle, awards ceremony, and live music. Participants choosing to golf will tee off at 12:00 PM, playing a scramble-style game that will accommodate players of all skill levels. A social only ticket is also available, with gala only attendees arriving at 5:00 PM.
Sponsors for this event include Associated Insurance, Valenti Family Dealerships and Willow Properties. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, and include golf passes, tickets to the gala, the company’s Logo Design on the NCSS website and printed fundraiser materials.
Noank Community Support Services is a non-profit organization, that has provided community services to youth throughout Eastern Connecticut for almost 50 years. Services include group homes, shelters, transportation, assessment, counseling, and temporary care programs. NCSS routinely works with the Department of Children and Families, and provides assistance to infants, children, and young adults up to 24 years of age.
The event will be held on Thursday, October 21, at the Lake of Isles golf course, located at 1 Clubhouse Drive in North Stonington. Tickets are available on the Eventbrite listing at $200 for golfers and $100 for social only gala attendees.
