Chance to celebrate the holidays with local bands

The Heavy Holidays celebration is taking place this month in nearby Bozrah, and is a presentation of Global Guild LLC.

This is an all-ages event which is set to feature the music of four local bands. The bands include An Unction in Braille from Central Connecticut, Casting Shadows from New London County, and Holding on to Nothing from Norwich. The genre of music from these bands is heavy metal or metalcore.

Organizers of the event are also looking for arts and crafts vendors to sell their merchandise at the show. Tables are available for $20 each. They are also hiring costumed performers to play a part throughout the entire night.

This event is good exposure not only for the bands (Casting Shadows is releasing their first album soon) but for the artisans who may be able to get some commissions from those in attendance in the future.

A flyer is already circulating for this show and will no doubt be distributed in nearby communities such as Norwich. Advertising material for shows like this is often provided by local Stationery printers.
