Band to celebrate 1,000th performance in Norwich

The group Pocket Vinyl will hold its 1,000th show in November at the Strange Brew Pub in Norwich.

Pocket Vinyl’s 1,000th Show is a celebratory event where people can show their support for an indie rock duo. The group consists of a pianist and an on-stage painter who creates a work of art during the performance to auction off to the audience. In honor of this milestone show, Pocket Vinyl will bring a full band to the venue and debut new songs. Games related to the group will be played all night, and free Posters will be given to all attendees.

Pocket Vinyl is a performing duo consisting of Elizabeth (the artist) and Eric (the pianist). The group has completed five albums, including Uncomfortably Unsure and Death Anxiety. Other accomplishments made by the band include creating a full-length documentary about their lives, being featured on the Judge John Hodgman podcast, and making an appearance on the show Snacky Tunes. Elizabeth also started a webcomic called The Touring Test.

The 1,000th show will take place on Friday, November 18 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets will cost $12 per person, though discounts are available to those who buy their tickets online. People can also support the band by visiting Elizabeth’s Etsy shop. Performers who organize shows such as this can use poster printing to get more people interested in the concert.
