Milford area to discover benefits of hydroponics

Hydroponic plant production uses water and other growing media in place of soil, and an upcoming Milford area workshop will show how it may be used to cultivate a wide selection of veggies and other plants at home.

Christian Heiden, who is the founder of Levo International, will be introducing a hydroponic system he developed to help make this style of gardening easier and more economical for the average person. It will be on offer at the Easton Library, and the activity will run for two hours.

During the session, the attendees will find out how they can use the system, and they will also discover how it can save them time, water, and other resources used in traditional methods. There will be kits available for purchase by anyone in the crowd who is interested, and they will be able to ask questions as well.

Attending a horticultural class gives home gardeners an opportunity to pick up some new knowledge and skills they can use in their own plantings. Event organizers who require printed materials will be able to order them from a local banner printing company.

This introduction to how easy hydroponics can be will begin at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12. Everyone is encouraged to attend so they can get started at being more sustainable.
