A porch arrangement can be the final touch to a home’s outdoor holiday decor, and a Milford workshop will be preparing these planters.
Learners in the sessions organized at Fountainhead Floral Design will each walk away with their own customized porch planter created by hand. It has been scheduled for the afternoon, and the doors will open 30 minutes ahead of its start time so everyone can get settled and meet the other attendees.
The facilitator will teach how to use the 12-inch planter, pinecones, fresh evergreens, ribbons, and other design elements to create a living arrangement that should keep on looking great throughout the holidays. While refreshments are not included, everyone is invited to bring their own drinks, and cups and plates will be provided. The registration fee is $65 per person, with seats still available at the time of writing.
Working with fresh flowers and other living materials can be a rewarding experience. Organizers will be able to order printed sheets of care tips and other materials that may be helpful to those who attend a workshop or other activity, with a local printing services company on hand to help.
The Winter Holiday Porch Pot will be offered at 1015 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford this Sunday, November 23, starting at 2:30 pm. It will also take place on December 2 and 6.
