Milford celebrates Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday gives a community's locally owned establishments an opportunity to shine, and Milford is one of those that have chosen to join the fun.
The Downtown Milford Business Association (DMBA) announced that it is pleased to present its Small Business Saturday celebration in late November. Everyone is encouraged to show some love to these local establishments, and it can be a chance to start and finish one’s holiday shopping, all in one neighborhood.
The DMBA will have a booth set up on the Milford Green in honor of the event, and will be giving away reusable cloth shopping totes for the first 250 members of the public to make a purchase at one of participating businesses. A list has been provided so everyone can plan their day in advance, and it includes shops, health and beauty establishments, arts and culture venues, eateries and bakeries and other companies.
At the time this was prepared, there were still spots on offer for small businesses that would like to be part of the festivities. Many companies choose to celebrate special shopping parties by distributing themed promotional products to the shoppers along with money saving coupons and other premiums that encourage them to return.
Milford will be marking Small Business Saturday on November 29th. Its website can be consulted for more details and full listing of the participating establishments.
