Milford celebrates Small Business Saturday
The Small Business Saturday initiative encourages the public to support their local retail community, and Milford will be one of the cities taking part.
The Downtown Milford Business Association has invited one and all to show some love to its small business by heading to the downtown shopping district for some browsing and buying. Retail establishments, eateries, and health and beauty shops will be on the list, and there will also be a pop-up market to visit.
An extensive list of participating business includes many that will have special pricing on offer. To thank locals for their support, the first 250 to make a purchase at one of the participating shops or restaurants will receive a specially designed cloth shopping tote.
To help keep the festive feeling going, the organizers have put out a call to local crafters, makers, and other small businesses interested in setting up shop in its Holiday Pop Up. This will be set up in the Taylor Memorial Library, as well as outdoors on The Green. Food trucks will also be on hand. Vendor contracts, letterheads, and other custom documents for an activity can be prepared for an event by stationery printers.
Milford will be saluting its small businesses with these events set for Saturday, November 29. More details and an application link are available on the Downtown Milford Business Association website.
