Milford Rotary organizes shed day fundraiser

An event that combines personal data security with helping the homeless has been organized by a local community service group, and everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the offer.

The Milford chapter of the Rotary Club recently announced that it has set the date for its shred fundraiser, where a variety of materials will be accepted. Households may want to take advantage of the day as part of their fall cleanup.

Volunteers will be on hand to help the public drop off their items at 440 New Haven Avenue. The price being charged is $5 for one bag of documents, $10 for a banker’s box, and $20 for each electronic item. Bulk quantities of small items may also be accepted.

The charity of choice for the day will be Keeping Milford Warm, which aids in the purchase of heating fuels and food for community members in need.

Donations, drives, community shreds, and other grassroots level fundraisers can be highly effective but often operate on a tight budget. A poster printing company can offer products and services at a range of price points to help get the word out about an event.

Milford Rotary is gearing up for its shred day fundraiser, scheduled for Sunday, October 5. The activity will begin at 9:00 am and continue until 12:00 noon.
