Yoga teaching course planned near Woodland Hills

Woodland Hills residents looking to become certified yoga teachers should note that a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course is scheduled for January 2021.

The internationally-renowned Caroline Klebl, who has been teaching yoga since 1998, will be hosting the training. The course, which is registered with the Yoga Alliance, is designed for yoga practitioners of all levels. The goal is for students to deepen their knowledge of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system and develop their teaching skills.

Klebl’s comprehensive training program will ensure participants learn how to teach Vinyasa, Power, and Ashtanga yoga classes. A 200-hour yoga teaching certificate will be awarded to students who attend every class, which will allow them to register as a 200-hour RYT (registered yoga teacher) with the Yoga Alliance.

The training will begin on Monday, January 11 and last through Thursday, February 4. Monday through Thursday, students will meet with the instructor, while Friday and Sunday will be home practice. Stationery printers may be called upon for events such as this to help organizers furnish learning materials, such as the yoga teacher training manuals students will receive.

The yoga course will take place at 1909 North Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Topanga. It will cost $2,900 to attend, with a $500 deposit to reserve a spot. To register, those interested can sign up online at sourceofyoga.com.
