The nonprofit Kidneys Quest will host a community 3K/5K in Woodland Hills this September.
The run will bring together runners, families, walkers, and supporters for a health-focused fundraiser centered on kidney disease awareness. The event will combine physical activity with education, screenings, and family programming intended to support patients and their loved ones.
The day will include wellness Checks, informational exhibits, kidney-conscious food options, raffle opportunities, children’s activities, and music from a live DJ. Participants may run, walk, form teams, or attend in support of someone affected by kidney disease. Proceeds will benefit the foundation’s programs, education efforts, and community outreach.
Check-in and onsite registration will run from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, followed by opening remarks at 9:00 am. The 3K/5K will begin at 9:15 am, while health activities and entertainment continue from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Free parking will be available at the college. A complimentary shuttle will leave the organization’s San Fernando office at 7:30 am. Strollers are permitted, and participants should dress appropriately.
Registration costs $43 for adults, $28 for ages 10 through 18, $33 for virtual participants, and $3 for children aged 10 or younger and seniors aged 65 and older.
