Woodland Hills enjoys comedic entertainment

The Local Peasant in Woodland Hills will host Peasant's Punchline this November.

The show will offer an evening of live stand-up comedy, dining, and entertainment. The event brings together a lineup of comedians for a night of humor in the restaurant's intimate setting, providing an entertainment option for residents and visitors in the West Valley.

Headlining the show is comedian and actress Mary Lynn Rajskub, joined by Elyssa Phillips, Papp Johnson, Johana Cocoa, Myke Wright, and Cole Garrett. The performers will deliver a variety of comedic styles and stories throughout the evening.

Established in 2011, The Local Peasant combines its neighborhood restaurant atmosphere with live entertainment through the comedy series. Guests can order from the restaurant's full food and beverage menu before and during the performance. A two-item minimum applies per person, and seating will be given according to party size. Valet parking will be provided for $10, or $11 if a credit card is used. Additional street parking will be available nearby.

General admission costs $23.18, including fees. The show is restricted to guests ages 18 and older, and tickets are nonrefundable.

Organizers often use flyer printing to publicize comedy performances and other neighborhood events such as this one.

Peasant's Punchline takes place Thursday, November 19 at The Local Peasant, 22901 Ventura Boulevard, Woodland Hills. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the show will run from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. Tickets are available through the Eventbrite listing.
