Wakeup Makeup will hold the One-on-One Refresher Course for Existing Lash Artists event next month, helping Woodland Hills lash professionals hone their extension skills.
Crystal Mattison Hernandez is the owner of Wakeup Makeup and Beauty Studio Calabasas. With over 10 years of experience under her belt, Hernandez now trains other lash artists who are interested in sharpening their lash extension skills.
The course will be a hands-on, one-on-one experience that will last from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, with three 15-minute breaks throughout. The first half of the training will consist of practice with mannequin practice and lash isolation. The second half will be learning how any natural lash type can be cared for, from short and blonde to multidirectional lashes. After students have achieved this, they will practice their newly learned techniques on a live model under the supervision of Hernandez.
The course will also include a Business and Marketing Crash Session where students will learn how to take photos of their work, post on Instagram, edit photos, create a Logo Design, create a business page, and post reels and stories.
The lash refresher class has multiple dates offered, with the nearest available date being Sunday, July 2. Further sessions will be on August 6, September 3, and October 1. The hosting venue is located at 23361 Mulholland Drive, all of which are Sundays. The course fee is $500.
