Woodland Hills to enjoy drive-thru Halloween spooks

Woodland Hills families can partake in contact-free trick or treating this Halloween thanks to Haunt O’Ween, an immersive drive-thru experience.

Haunt O’Ween will be hosted by the Average Socialite, a public relations and communications company that organizes exclusive events in various cities across the United States. This event will provide an alternative trick or treating experience for families who wish to enjoy Halloween adventures within the safe confides of social distancing measures. Instead of door-to-door, people will be able to drive through an interactive experience that includes costumed actors handing out candy and pumpkins to each car.

The drive-thru experience will last 20 to 25 minutes, with participants staying in their vehicle as it rolls through visually appealing installations of spooky surprises. Windows can be rolled down, but attendees must wear masks. All costumed actors will be masked and gloved, giving out one pumpkin per car in plastic packages; candy will be individually wrapped and offered via pole and bucket. It is a photo-friendly experience, and video ops will be sent through email, which may require the services of graphic design artists to perfect the visual package.

Haunt O’Ween will occur on several dates in October, running from October 9 through Halloween, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets will range from $70 to $90 per vehicle and can be purchased at hauntoweenla.com.
