AgeTech Los Angeles will have its inaugural meetup in Woodland Hills this September to enable those in the field to discuss leading trends, solutions, and technologies.
The AgeTech Collaborative is a part of the AARP’s efforts to unite key stakeholders involved in the mission to improve people’s lives as they age. This collaborative includes creative startups, investors, enterprises, testbeds, and business services all working in the same ecosystem to develop technological solutions to make the process of aging easier for an increasing aging population.
The AgeTech Los Angeles Meetup will invite leading innovators from around the Los Angeles area to learn about the latest advancements in the field. There will be two networking sessions, one at the beginning and one at the end. In between, there will be featured speakers giving inspiring presentations on breakthroughs and exciting developments. These featured speakers are Scott Kaiser, founder and CEO of Determined Health; Nicky Hawthorne, operations lead of Cairns Health; and Costin Tuculescu, founder and CEO of ONSCREEN. Networking meetups like this may encourage attendees to bring a fresh supply of Business Cards to hand out when they mingle.
The meetup is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18 from 10:00 am to 11:45 am. It will take place at The Variel of Woodland Hills, located at 6233 Variel Avenue. There is no cost to attend.
