Next month, Morton’s The Steakhouse in Woodland Hills will present its Sips of Summer: The Bourbon Trail event next month to offer a chance to savor the flavors of craft bourbon paired with gourmet cuisine.
Morton’s The Steakhouse is a chain of upscale steakhouses that serve elevated American fare, high-end wines, and craft cocktails. The Morton’s in Woodland Hills frequently hosts special events that showcase both its cuisine and curated beverages. The Sips of Summer event in July will feature four craft bourbon cocktails that will be paired with specially curated small bites.
The bourbon sampling will offer guests an interactive tasting experience where seating will be available, but it will not follow the traditional style of a sit-down dinner. The cocktails will all feature the elegant flavors of Woodford Reserve and will be named the Thai Julep, Summer Sour, Smoke Break, and Bourbon Pound Cake. The menu will include brie crostinis, bacon-wrapped dates, chicken drumettes, grilled shrimp skewers, bourbon Wellington, and coconut marshmallow cookies.
Tasting events will frequently include printed tasting Menus that describe the food pairings for guests. Organizers can Print specialty Menus at local Stationery printers offering such services.
The Sips of Summer event is scheduled for July 19 beginning at 6:00 pm. Morton’s The Steakhouse in Woodland Hills is located at 6250 Canoga Avenue, Suite 111. Tickets are $99.
