A new mall has opened in Woodland hills, and it promises shoppers an exciting experience.
The Village at Westfield Topanga is an extension of another Woodland Hills mall – Westfield Topanga Canyon. The mall features an open-air design, but goes beyond traditional malls to offer additional amenities.
One shopper, who was relaxing in a shady chair, said the new mall is interesting, well set up, and offers a lot of comfortable spots to sit. Other unusual features include water bowls for dog owners to use, and book drops. At these locations, shoppers can take a book to read for a while as they take a break from shopping.
Larry Green, a spokesman for Westfield, which owns malls across the country, said they wanted the Village to be a gathering place for members of the community, who could come to the mall to socialize. With that in mind, they created unusual features like Bocce ball courts, fountains, and koi ponds.
Large tenants like REI and Costco anchor the mall, but there are also a number of smaller shops throughout the space. The Village's opening brings the number of retailers in the two connected malls to about 300.
The Village's managers might consider working with a banner printing company to create Banners to display in front of each store as it opens.Get a Free Quote for Banners
