Residents of the San Fernando Valley are getting ready for Valentine’s Day. The upcoming holiday will likely have many varied celebrations, and one way for couples in particular to celebrate is with a special class at Bitter Root Pottery in Woodland Hills.
The classes offered are a special offered every year at around this time. The class is a beginner-level option open to those of all levels of experience, and will focus primarily on wheel throwing. This is the basic formation of pottery using a spinning wheel and clay, where potters generally use their hands as their primary tools.
This event will be held in the Bitter Root Pottery store in the Westfield Topanga Village, on the corner of Topanga and Victory. There is paid parking, as well as free parking lots around the Village within walking distance. There will be light refreshments served at this class, such as fruits, cheese, crackers, and chocolates, along with complimentary champagne or wine. The class is $150 for two people.
Events like this often keep plenty of Business Cards on hand, not only for participants but also for curious passers-by. There are multiple classes being offered over the course of two days, February 13 and 14. Classes will go both days from 4-6 pm, 6-8 pm, 8-10 pm, and 10-12 pm, with one additional class 2-4 pm on February 14.
