Woodland Hills event to shine light on kid entrepreneurs

This year, young entrepreneurs will have a chance to flex their business muscles at the Woodland Hills Children's Business Fair happening in March.

Hosted by Marina Goncearenco of the Youth Business Academy, the fair will be an opportunity for children to see what it is like to come up with a business plan and pitch it to investors. Each participant will craft a business plan and submit it to a panel of judges. After being accepted, they will execute it, and present it on the day of the fair. All the steps – pitching, selling, and transacting with buyers – will be done independently by the child. The fair is open to children ages 6 to 16.

On the day of the event, the whole community of Woodland Hills is invited to observe the showcase of over 40 children's businesses. Individuals and businesses wishing to either volunteer or become sponsors can send inquiries via email to the organizers.

Sponsors of events like this may decide to boost their visibility during the event by offering Promotional Products to attendees through giveaways, raffles, and the like.

The children’s business fair is scheduled for March 4, beginning at 11:00 am. It will take place at Pierce College, which is located at 6201 Winnetka Avenue. Admission is free and open to whoever is interested in attending.
