Womens club to hold artisan market in Woodland Hills

In August, the Canoga Park Women's Club will host its Mini Boutique, an artisan crafts market, to help raise funds for charities in the Woodland Hills area.

Canoga Women’s Club is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1914 with the mission of improving the community and supporting community endeavors. From its first task of starting a free public library to its present-day charity work, the Club has focused on building people and organizations up. The Mini Boutique event in August will both provide an opportunity for local vendors to sell their wares and boost their visibility, as well as allow a portion of the proceeds raised to support local charities.

A variety of artisan vendors will be present at the boutique, including sellers of clothing, knitted items, jewelry, soap, succulent plants, and pre-made gift baskets. There will also be fused glass and custom-made resin creations for purchase. Baked goods, bottled water, and soft drinks will be available as refreshment options. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in raffle drawings of Promotional Products donated by vendors.

The Mini Boutique is slated for Saturday, August 7, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The venue is located on 7401 Jordan Avenue, Canoga Park. For more information, those interested can call Kasey Ford at 818-268-0325 or email kasey.jackal@hotmail.com.
