This November, the Valley Cultural Foundation will be hosting the Virtual Bands on the 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for artists and art programs in Woodland Hills and the surrounding San Fernando Valley.
The Valley Cultural Foundation is one of California’s biggest nonprofits supporting the arts, live entertainment, and art programming. The 5K run/walk will raise funds specifically for the Children’s Performance Series, the Emerging Artists program, and Arts on the Move. As a virtual run, participants can contribute by paying the registration fee and then choosing their own route to run or walk. The route can be on the road, track, or trail, or it can even be on the treadmill from the comfort of home.
The registration fee for single runners is $40 and includes a T-shirt, bib, and medal. Businesses wishing to be sponsors have various sponsorship levels from which they can choose. The highest level is $10,000 and includes perks such as the company’s Logo Design or name on participant shirts and the option to distribute Promotional Products through mail.
