Vegan festival coming to Woodland Hills area

People who want to learn more about vegan living, or who are already eating this way, have a chance to attend a festival devoted to these foods.

VegFest Los Angeles 2016 is coming up fast, and the day promises to be fun and educational.

The heart of the festival is perhaps the international vegan food court, where people can sample delicious vegan dishes. Musicians will share the main stage with speakers, who will talk about health, humanitarian topics, the environment, and other subjects. There will be plenty of activities designed specifically for children too, including face painting, a fort, and hulahoops.

A marketplace with more than 150 vendors will welcome shoppers, and there will be cooking demonstrations in the Learning Kitchen. People looking to add a four-footed family member will have a chance to adopt a companion animal. Last but not least, the Oasis will welcome thirsty attendees with a selection of wine and beer.

VegFest Los Angeles 2016 is scheduled to run from 10.30 am until 6.30 pm this Sunday, May 1. The venue is Woodley Park in Lake Balboa, about eight miles from Woodland Hills. Admission to this event is free.

Event organizers might like to create Banners to identify the vendors and highlight some of the offerings. Since Banners are sturdy, they are particularly effective for outdoor events.
