Paint night event to bring Woodland Hills families together
Next month, Yaymaker will host the Family Paint Night event for Woodland Hills families to come together to create something special.
Founded in 2012, Yaymaker is a creative event organizer that provides locally hosted art related events usually taking place in social venues such as bars, breweries, and restaurants. These events encompass fun and creative activities such as gardening, flower arranging, candle-making, and painting. The event in Woodland Hills will follow the format of the Original Paint Nite and will be designed specifically for families.
Local artist Elizabeth Grebler will guide the class step-by-step as attendees work to create their own unique masterpieces. All ages are welcomed, and no experience in art or painting is required to complete the activity. All supplies, including blank canvases, will be supplied by organizers. The painting exercise will take about two hours to complete. For adults 21 and older, the venue will also offer specialty cocktails for refreshments.
Creative workshops are often advertised on posters that can be hung in storefronts, community arts centers, and libraries. This usually requires printing posters in bulk, which can easily be done at local print shops specializing in poster printing.
Yaymaker’s Family Paint is scheduled for May 1, beginning at 5:00 pm. It will take place at El Torito on 6040 Canoga Avenue, Woodland Hills. Tickets are $35.
