Universal Studios Hollywood is launches its next Running Universal program in a two-day event, featuring the one and only Jurassic World Run.
After the grand opening of Jurassic Park: The Ride, participants are being invited to experience an adrenaline rush as they run through the dinosaur theme park, with paths circling around iconic Hollywood film sets left behind by the studio. Banner printing can attract a livelier crowd at theme parks.
There are three races targeted towards guests ages five and up. The 5K and 10K challenge will take fitness buffs, joggers, and walkers on an endurance run past the splashing thrill ride where they could wind up underneath the famous Jurassic World arches. The Raptor Run is the shortest run meant for younger children.
Those who reach the finish line at Universal CityWalk are rewarded with refreshments and live music. Families can take photos with dinosaur silhouettes such as Blue the Velociraptor, or sit next to props used in older Jurassic Park movies.
To register for the event, runners are required to wear their bib at the packet pickup. Fans of Jurassic Park are offered the Standard, VIP, or Play All Day package, which contains T-Shirts, drawstring Backpacks, or water bottles.
Residents of Woodland Hills can attend the Running Universal event from November 16-17 at 5:30 am to make the earliest run.
