The Snowflake Festival is taking place this December, and is an annual presentation of the West Valley - Warner Center Chamber of Commerce.
The festival will be suitable for people of all ages, but is especially aimed at the children. Activities on offer during the day will include a slide made from real snow, game booths, arts and crafts, a 20-foot inflatable train, and a Velcro wall.
Food will be available for purchase and a holiday boutique will be set up for those who still have some shopping to do in time for the big day. Guests can enjoy viewing the seven-foot Hanukkah puppy, watching the tree lighting ceremony, and listening to carol singers. In addition, Santa will make an appearance and pose for pictures with the children.
Visitors are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys or non-perishable food donations, which will be distributed to local charities. The flyer that is being used to advertise this event in the community, no doubt including in nearby Woodland Hills, may have been produced with the help of a local printing company.
The Snowflake Festival will take place at the Tarzana Community and Cultural Center on December 7 from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, and is free to attend. To get the latest information about this upcoming holiday event, call 818-705-1286.
