Family Carnival coming to Woodland Hills
With proceeds to benefit the local scouting programs, Woodland Hills will be host to a Family Carnival in June.
With over 250 volunteer Scouts on hand to staff the event, the Scouts want to ensure a pleasant experience for all who attend. Los Angeles County alone has over 10,000 Scouts in their program who learn life values through their pursuits.
Scout troops likely use banner printing services to announce their troop’s location and troop number. Events such as this are a way for the Scouts to recruit new members and share their experiences with the general public.
The carnival will have something for everyone as it boasts a large assortment of entertainment options, including bounce houses, games and prizes, face painting, clowns, and musical entertainment including Scout Bands.
For the thrill seekers, the carnival will have a climbing wall, a bungee jump, and a many other additional rides. Children can also enjoy the petting zoo and pinewood derby, and try some gold panning while enjoying the sights and sounds of a carnival.
The Family Carnival will be held on Saturday, June 15 at the Pierce College 6201 Winnetka Ave. The event will be held from noon to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased in advance or on site. The purchase of tickets enables access to select activities, rides, and entertainment.
