Brow class to teach beauty professionals new technique

In a few days, professional permanent makeup artist Marina Alexandra will host the Brow Lamination Certification Course to help Woodland Hills’ licensed cosmetologists and estheticians learn the new beauty technique.

In addition to being a makeup artist, Marina Alexandra is also a licensed cosmetologist, barber, and microblading artist that teaches beauty workshops. Her September class will focus on brow lamination, or brow sculpting, which has been growing in popularity. The course will be specifically for licensed beauty professional or nurses, since state-accredited training is required to practice brow lamination in the state of California.

The workshop will feature hands-on experience with a live model. Attendees will receive a full kit containing a brow lamination manual, which will go over information like hair growth cycles, skin and brow anatomy, brow shaping techniques, and health and safety tips. The kit will also include mascara wand brushes, plastic brow wrap, applicator lint-free brushes, cleansing wipes, and a carrying case to hold all tools.

Such workshops often utilize the services of Print shops specializing in brochure printing to create informative Brochures to aid students in class or at home.

The Brow Lamination Certification Course is scheduled for September 1 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The venue address is 21900 Burbank Boulevard, Woodland Hills. Registration is $650 plus online processing fees on Eventbrite.
