A makers’ market can make it easy for a community to show some love to its creative side, and one of these activities is set to give Ventura the chance to get its shop on.
The city will be celebrating the season with its Findings Market Spring Fair, and it will be held just in time to find a gift for mom or treat her to a day of shopping. It will include crafters and makers as well as other merchants, and it will be open to the public for seven hours.
The activity, which is set for S. Oak Street, will showcase at least 100 sellers, with live music to enjoy as well. Anyone who would like to cool off with a drink or purchase a bite to eat will be able to do so, and there will be special fun for the kids. Pets are welcome, but they must be under their owner’s control at all times.
Pop-up markets often attract a large crowd, and they tend to be relaxed and casual affairs. Vendors that often set up shop in these activities can access a variety of services from local Print shops, including Logo Design preparation and other custom work.
The Findings Market Spring Fair is free to attend and will celebrate the season on Saturday, May 10. The fun will kick off at 10:00 am.
