Many communities throughout California celebrate Oktoberfest, and Ventura is yet another township to have added this event to their list of annual activities.
Residents can gear up for the first-ever Ventura Oktoberfest; a celebration aiming to attract a wide audience.
A number of sponsors have made Oktoberfest in Ventura possible, and they will also provide their services throughout this three-day festival. Some local businesses include Ventura Spirits, Balcom Canyon Cider, Transmission Brewing, the Ventura Coast Brewing Company, and Topa Topa Brewing Company. Representatives from Samuel Adams will also provide non-alcoholic beverages to those who are interested.
While beer may be a central theme of Oktoberfest, this is still meant to be a family-friendly festival. Live entertainment, rides for children, an on-site artisan market, and a healthy selection of German foods will await all who attend.

The First Annual Ventura Oktoberfest is being held between Friday, October 3 and Sunday, October 5.
