Residents of Ventura are preparing for a March event intended to celebrate the connection of this community to the maritime environment.
Mermaid Month will provide a host of fun activities for all ages, and this celebration is taking place on two separate days.
Mermaid Month has become something of a tradition throughout Ventura, and this year's gathering is expected to draw a diverse crowd. Not only does this event provide an opportunity for families to enjoy a day out and about, but it also allows businesses to advertise their services.
Throughout this two-day celebration, examples of what can be enjoyed include a mermaid scavenger hunt for children, arts and crafts, live ice sculpting, chalk drawings, and educational seminars focusing on the importance of maritime conservation.
Annual events will often use visual advertising methods to keep the public informed. Banner printing, placing Flyers in commercial locations, and creating Brochures displaying specific itineraries are all proven techniques.
Mermaid Month 2026 is being held on March 7 and March 21. Doors open at 12:00 PM on both days, and the event will last until 3:00 PM. All activities are taking place at Ventura Harbor Village located at 1583 Spinnaker Drive. There is no charge to enter, and no advance tickets are required.
