While Halloween may still be a number of weeks away, Ventura is already gearing up for a decidedly macabre family-friendly experience this September.
The fourth annual Seaside Oddities Expo brings together all things spooky, surreal, and uncanny. This year's event will be hosting more than 150 vendors from Ventura. Some of the attractions guests can enjoy include vintage Halloween decorations that can be purchased, sideshow props, oddities of nature, examples of taxidermy, and unique selfie opportunities.
Organizers also claim that a handful of "spooky special guests" will be mingling with the crowd. These are in addition to other onsite events such as a costume contest, Halloween-themed foods, and artisan coffee tasting.
Similar to other family-friendly festivals, techniques such as brochure printing, social media posts, and local banner advertisements will no doubt be used to provide details of what guests can expect.
The fourth annual Seaside Oddities Expo is being held on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Those who purchase VIP passes can arrive at 10:00 AM each day, while general admission begins at 12:00 noon. All events conclude at 8:00 PM. Ticket prices are $27.50 for general admission or $12.50 for children between 11 and 17, and VIP passes are available for $47.50.
The Ventura County Fairgrounds at 10 East Harbor Boulevard is hosting this year's festival, and all tickets should be purchased online in advance.
