A seasonally themed activity is set to welcome Ventura paddlers, and a special guest will be leading the way.
The Big Guy in Red has sent in his RSVP for the annual Santa Paddle, and paddleboarders, kayakers, and themed paddle boats will all be joining the fun. Those who do not have a board or kayak can rent one for the activity, and there will be other craft available as well.
Participants will take to the water at 11:00 am on its scheduled date, and everyone is encouraged to dress in holiday garb under their life vest. Anyone who needs a rental is advised to arrive ahead of time, and a group photo will be taken.
The procession will depart from Ventura Boat Rentals. Afterwards, the group can head to Ventura Harbor Village Winter Wonderland and Holiday Marketplace. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on site, accompanied by a live reindeer.
